Why do we celebrate Children's Day


Children's Day is widely known as a tribute to Nehru. Nehru, fondly called 'Chacha Nehru' became born on November 14, 1889. He became recognized for his affection for kids. He additionally set up Children's Film Society India in 1955 to create indigenous cinema solely for kids.
Every year on the anniversary of India's first prime leader Jawaharlal Nehru's birth, Children's Day is observed. He was born on November 14, 1889, and was affectionately known as "Chacha Nehru." Known for his love of children, he founded the Children's Film Society of India in 1955 to produce locally produced films just for youngsters. On November 14, India celebrates Children's Day, sometimes referred to as "Bal Diwas."

Despite being nominated for the Nobel Prize 11 times between 1950 and 1955, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru never won it. He was mostly chosen for his contributions to world peace.
After enrolling in Trinity College in Cambridge in 1907, he graduated with honours in natural science in 1910.
In August 1912, he went to India and enrolled as an advocate with the Allahabad High Court in an effort to get experience as a lawyer.

From a Pandit family in Kashmir came Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
In 1935, he penned an autobiography while he was detained. Its title was "Toward Freedom," and it was published in the US in 1936.
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru passed away on May 27, 1964.
